We are a new corp, we are trying very hard to not get swallowed up into an already existing alliance, but this daily struggle is simply getting harder and harder.
We mine A LOT, as a corp, and individually. getting Battleships, is a massive feat, and getting more then one of them, is literally weeks work, this is the reason why the following observation is so pertanent.
We are everyday, getting the crap kicked out of us, doesnt seem to matter what sectors we are in, we are losing Moas and Ospreys every day. The pirategroups, Moo Mega SA are playing thier roles, and we as such, find oursleves out of pocket more times than you can shake a stick at, and it is because we cant fight back, that we are treated as such.
For most corps I suppose this isnt a big problem, but for our corp, even with Insurance, its a huge problem. We are forever trying to recover from our losses, and never being able to investany of our funds into getting on.
So what do we do?
The only option seems to be fold up and join a mega corp of some sort. Get swallowed up into some alliance, where you have no real say on your direction, hey but at least we'll have battleships! And wont be easy meat for the lone Pirate getting his sec rating down to the magic 10!
We have 30 members, and out of those 30 have at least 15 online at any one time 24 hours a day, you'd think this type of commitment would see us right, but from a CEOs pov, it really doesnt look like it will, it seems to me that in this game, the rich get richer, and the poor are used as punch bags, muchos like real life tbf, but now what i wanna pay 12 dollars a month for.
Someone tell me I am wrong, and offer me some advice on what we can do to get on.? Or am I right?
Why not just form a mutual safety alliance. Cost nothing for small corps to join and they all work to preserve each other? Ring of wagons type situation. Safety in numbers. -----------------------------
It's all about the fortune and glory, fortune and glory!
